Creative Reset Sunday - Paint & Woodland Spa – Melancoose – Sunday 22nd November 2026

Time: 10am – 1pm

Paint, then sauna, hot tub and cold plunge in the woods

Sundays were made for this. Join me for a slow Sunday morning, tucked away in the peaceful woodland valley at Melancoose, just two miles from Newquay. We'll spend two unhurried hours making textured Cornish landscapes, then wind down in the woodland spa.

You told me you wanted more time to create, and this is my answer. The Creative Reset Club Sunday Session gives you a full two hours of painting, so you can properly lose yourself in the process, followed by an hour in the woodland spa to let it all settle.

The Morning:

☕ 10am – Arrive & settle in
Grab a tea or coffee and a little something sweet, and find your place at the table in The Barn, Melancoose's beautifully restored wood mill.

🎨 10am – 12pm – Textured Landscapes
I'll guide you through my own textured painting process, building layers of texture paste, sand and natural materials to capture the rugged Cornish landscape: windswept headlands, rolling fields, wild skies and the soft light of a late autumn day. We'll look at layering, mark-making and expressive colour, so your painting feels like a place rather than a picture of one. Your painting is yours to take home.

No prior experience needed, ever. This is about play, presence and giving yourself permission to create.

🔥 12pm – 1pm – Woodland Spa
Head down into the trees for a full hour in Melancoose's woodland spa, moving between the wood-fired sauna, the hot tub, the cold plunge and the fire pit. It's the perfect way to close a creative morning: warm, restored and quietly buzzing.

1pm – Head home feeling lighter, with your painting under your arm.

What's Included:

2-hour guided textured landscape painting workshop

All creative materials provided (paints, texture mediums, tools and aprons)

Your finished painting to take home

Tea, coffee & treats

1 hour in the Melancoose woodland spa (wood-fired sauna, hot tub, cold plunge & fire pit)

Investment: £75 per person

FAQs – Creative Reset Club Sunday Session

Do I need to be good at art?
Not at all. This session is for all levels, whether you paint regularly or haven't picked up a brush since school. I'll guide you through every step, and the focus is on enjoying the process rather than achieving perfection.

What should I bring?
Swimwear, a towel and flip-flops or sliders for the spa, plus warm layers, because it's November in the woods! Wear clothes you don't mind getting a little paint on. Aprons are provided.

Is the spa outdoors?
Yes. The woodland spa sits among the trees, with a wood-fired sauna, hot tub, cold plunge, outdoor shower and fire pit. Changing rooms are available on site. The cold plunge is entirely optional.

Where do we meet?
Please arrive from 9.45am at Melancoose, Colan, Newquay TR8 4JS. Free parking is available on site. Full directions will be sent in your welcome email the week before.

Can I come alone?
Absolutely. Lots of people come on their own, and the small group and relaxed pace make it very easy to chat (or not!) as you wish.

How will I get my painting home?
Textured paintings can take a little while to dry fully, so I'll make sure yours is safe to carry and give you tips for letting it cure at home.

Terms & Conditions

Booking & Payment
Full payment is required to confirm your space. Spaces are limited to 10 and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cancellations & Refunds
Due to the small-group nature of this session, tickets are non-refundable. However, if you can no longer attend, your booking is fully transferable, so you're welcome to gift or resell your ticket. Please let us know of any name changes in advance.

Changes to Schedule
While every effort will be made to deliver the session as described, we reserve the right to make slight adjustments due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. extreme weather). In the rare event of cancellation by the organiser, a full refund will be issued.

Health & Responsibility
By attending, you confirm you are able to take part in the spa session. Sauna, hot tub and cold water immersion may not be suitable for everyone, so if you are pregnant, have a heart condition, high or low blood pressure, or any other medical concerns, please check with your GP before booking and let us know in advance. Please also tell us about any allergies when booking.

Photography
Photos may be taken during the session for promotional purposes. If you'd prefer not to appear in any images, just let us know on the day and we'll absolutely respect your wishes.
