Reconnect to yourself, your creativity, and the healing energy of the ocean on this soul-soothing one-day retreat on the Cornish coast.

Hosted at the stylish SeaSpace Hotel in Newquay, this immersive day experience weaves together nature, movement, mindfulness, and creative expression to help you feel fully present, restored, and inspired.

The Journey:

🌿 10am – Coastal Connection Walk + Beach Journalling
Meet at SeaSpace and begin your day with a guided coastal walk down to Porth Beach, led by Vanessa from Saltwater Path. Down on the sand, Vanessa will gently guide you through a relaxed journalling session — breaking down barriers and helping you tap into your thoughts and intuition in a safe, supported way.

11am – Reset at the SeaSpace Café
Return to the hotel and enjoy a fresh smoothie or artisan coffee at the laid-back on-site café, with time to reflect and connect with your fellow retreat guests.

🧘‍♀️ 11.45am – Mindful Movement with Mmm Yoga
Step into SeaSpace’s calming yoga studio for a beautifully guided 60-minute practice by local teacher Mmm Yoga. Open to all levels, the class will focus on grounding, gentle release, and breath-led movement.

🍽️ 1pm – Nourishing Lunch by Tallo
Tuck into a delicious buffet-style lunch curated by Tallo — a vibrant Italian-American fusion restaurant at SeaSpace. Expect fresh, flavourful, and deeply satisfying food that fuels you for the creative afternoon ahead.

🎨 2pm – Driftwood Painting with Gemma Lessinger
Led by artist and retreat host Gemma Lessinger, you’ll be guided through a 2-hour driftwood painting session inspired by the coastal textures and colours around you. Using natural materials and expressive techniques, this creative practice is all about freedom, connection and self-expression — no prior experience needed.

🍹 4pm – Closing Refreshment & Integration
Enjoy a light, non-alcoholic refreshment as we wind down the day together and take a moment to reflect on all that’s been awakened and inspired.

Do I need to be good at art or yoga to come?
Absolutely not. This retreat is designed for all levels — whether you’ve never picked up a paintbrush or stepped on a yoga mat before. The focus is on connection, expression, and restoration, not perfection.

What should I bring?
Just wear comfortable clothing suitable for walking, yoga, and painting — layers are ideal for the Cornish coast. Please also bring a notebook or journal for the beach session, a water bottle, and swimwear if you fancy a post-retreat sea dip or spa session.

No — access to the SeaSpace spa is included in your retreat ticket and available from 4.30pm onwards. No prior booking is needed.

Can I stay at the hotel?
Yes! Retreat guests will receive an exclusive 15% off accommodation at SeaSpace. We’ll send a discount code and booking link in your confirmation email, so you can turn your retreat into a relaxing overnight escape.

Where do we meet?
We’ll meet at 10am at the SeaSpace Hotel reception. The full address and directions will be provided in your welcome email the week of the retreat.

Can I come alone?
Absolutely. Many guests attend solo and this retreat has been thoughtfully designed to feel warm, inclusive, and connection-focused. You’ll leave feeling creatively and emotionally nourished — and possibly with a few new friends too.
