Estuary Views Part 1 - Original Unframed Textured Painting

£400.00

A quiet tidal rhythm rendered in texture and shift.

Estuary Views Part 1 was born from ten days spent at The National Lobster Hatchery in Padstow, where I watched the Camel Estuary breathe with the tides — revealing shifting sand banks and delicate patterns of water and light that felt alive beneath my fingertips. This piece is a tactile translation of that place: the gentle play of water and grain, the interplay of calm and motion that only comes from watching the tide slowly turn.

Built on wood with acrylics and upcycled materials — including reclaimed surfboard fibreglass and tea bag paper from a local tea maker — it carries both texture and narrative: a shoreline conversation between sea, sand, and maker. Offered unframed as it lived in my studio, it invites you to complete its journey in your own space.

A portion of every sale is donated to The National Lobster Hatchery, supporting ocean conservation and the ecosystems that shape this estuary’s rhythms. Each purchase also arrives with a handwritten note, dated with this release moment — a small keepsake that connects the shoreline and your home with intention.

30cm x 30cm wood board
