This piece layers acrylic paint with sand, surfboard fibreglass, and upcycled textiles to recreate the rhythm of the sea. White peaks of textured waves break across deep turquoise waters, their energy softened by the handmade quality of the materials beneath.
At the top of the canvas, my grandmother's tablecloth forms the underlayers, a personal nod to her unwavering support of my creativity.
