This piece evokes all the wonder I felt when I first walked out along the coast path and saw this beautiful cove. It took my breathe away. The rocky lagoons tucked off to my left, the golden sand stretching out to the right with surfers riding the secret break off in the distance.
I have used sand and sea salt in the paint to build the texture in this piece, using sand from the actual beach for the golden sand on the beach.
