How it works:
1. Share your wedding plans
Tell me about your location, your story, and what matters most to you.
2. We decide on meaningful elements
This could include sand from your beach, fabric offcuts from your dress, or textures that hold personal meaning. These don’t need to be supplied before the wedding - they can be sent after once painting begins.
3. I arrive on your wedding day just before you say your vows to capture the reference footage
No painting is done on the day, due to the texture in the piece, it take many hours to dry between layers. I gather all reference photos of the shoreline while you say your vows - don’t worry you won’t even know I am there! You then carry on with your celebrations and I return to the studio to put together your composition brief.
4. Composition brief sent to you
I will send you my reference footage and a few variations of composition capturing your special moment. You can then decide exactly how you want your painting to look, before I even begin putting paint to canvas. You can also send me at this point any materials you have gathered from your wedding day that you would like including in your painting.
4. Your artwork is created
I translate your day into a layered, textural seascape - capturing both place and emotion.
5. You receive your piece
A one-of-a-kind artwork that reconnects you to your wedding day, every time you see it.

Gemma is easy-going, intuitive and full of amazing creative ideas. She listened to our thoughts and budget and even incorporated sand from the beach we married on and the offcuts from my dress into the piece. It is nothing short of stunning. As a surprise for my husband to be, I also commissioned Gemma to paint two pairs of vans (his and hers) with seascapes to wear on the big day, mainly so I didnt fall over walking down the aisle on sand. Mini Textured Paintings for your Wedding Party
Perfect for you to give as gifts to your wedding party. Each 10cm x 10cm piece acts as a completely unique reminder of your special day for the party. Painted onto a mounted wood board, ready to hang onto a wall. Prices start from £70 per mini but depending on quantity and if added as part of a wedding day package, this can be flexible.
