The second part of this mini surf art series, capturing surfers ready and waiting to catch a wave at Crantock. The excitement, the anticipation, all building just as the wave is.
The texture in the waves of this piece have been created using re-purposed offcuts of fibreglass from surfboard manufacturing, turning it into art instead of it ending on landfill.
There is also subtle texture using sand in the water, portraying the depth and momentum in the building swell.
