Breaking Wave at Crantock

This piece focuses on one early morning, sat at the top of the dunes at Crantock watching the waves at high tide. One clean wave, rolling in towards the shore, I can almost remember the sound of it breaking.
I have built up the structure in the wave in this piece using offcuts of fibreglass from surfboard manufacturing. There is then very subtle texture across the ocean water, tiny grains of sand and shimmering highlights of turquoise.
