Twist of Tide captures that quiet turning point between day and dusk, when the ocean seems to hold its breath. The texture of the water is created from my grandmother’s vintage tablecloth, its delicate weave echoing the rhythm and movement of the tide. The cresting wave is sculpted from surfboard fibreglass, adding contrast and flow.
A piece that speaks to subtle transformation — a reminder of how gently one moment becomes another, and how the smallest shift in light can change everything.
