“Spun by the Sea” is a celebration of movement and texture — the rolling curl of a wave suspended in time. Shades of turquoise and deep blue merge with foaming white crests, capturing the fleeting moment before the ocean folds back into itself.

Like its sister pieces, this artwork is layered with meaningful and sustainable materials. The base texture is formed from my grandmother’s tablecloth, a reminder of her encouragement of my creative path. The breaking wave is built on surfboard fibreglass and finished with paint mixed with fragments of fishing net and rope collected from Cornish beaches. Each element is woven with memory and meaning, transforming waste into beauty.

Framed in a white handmade tray frame, “Spun by the Sea” brings the rhythm and pulse of the ocean into your home, whether displayed alone or as part of a trio.
