Textured Ocean Paintings Inspired By Cornwall
Gemma’s two main focuses in her ocean artwork are re-purposing and texture, upcycling fibreglass from surfboard manufacturing to build her characteristic depth. All original paintings are now made using eco acrylics on canvas. She also offers up-cycled ‘canvases’ in her commission work, from old surfboards to skateboard decks. With Cornwall as her inspiration, her Beach Art has captured the hearts of locals and visitors, bringing their love of the Ocean onto the walls of their homes.
