Nestled in the creative hub of Lanteague Studios, Salt & Canvas is a shared studio and exhibition space where the Cornish coastline shapes every creation. Home to artists Gemma Lessinger and Bella Wilhm, the studio celebrates a mutual connection to the sea — from the textures of repurposed coastal materials to the organic beauty of native seaweed. Visitors are welcome by appointment to explore new work, commissions, and seasonal exhibitions.

Both Gemma and Bella will be using the space as a working studio and likely to be around most days during the week, but to ensure someone is there if you are making a special visit, we advise that you contact the studio and book an appointment. If you are just passing by or visiting one of the other amazing businesses at Lanteague, and the ‘Come on up’ sign is outside Unit 11, you are more than welcome to say hi!
