10cm x 10cm x 2cm wood board
Textured mini seascape painting focusing on the iconic Perranporth beach, in particular the tidal pool on Chapel Rock. The 3d texture in the rocks has been sculpted using tiny fragments of rope found on the beach, as well as grains of sand from the shoreline. The larger 3D wave has been created using an offcut of fibreglass from a local surfboard manufacturer.
These offcuts are non recycleable so by Gemma repurposing them and using them as texture, she is enabling the surfboard shaper to be one step closer to being zero waste.
Each piece comes unframed but can be hung directly on the wall as is.
They look great as sets so take a lot at the others on offer!
