'Mother Iveys Bay Mini Duo' Original Textured Painting Duo

A mini duo set of one of Gemma’s bigger pieces which focuses on the Padstow Lifeboat station at Mother Iveys Bay in Padstow. Gemma has spent many hours gazing at this scene, paddleboarding across the bay and swimming in the waters below the station. The waters at this bay are always the most incredible shades of teal and turqouise, deep and dark at one moment, then bright azure the next when the Cornish sun catches it. A paradise right here on the Cornish coastline.

As with all Gemma’s pieces, this painting is a textural ode to this beautiful beach, with sand from the very shore helping to build the depth and texture. The small footpath that leads from the cliff down to the lifeboat station has been created using tiny pieces of driftwood which Gemma gathered from the shore below the station.

Feel the sun on your face, the salt drying on your skin, sand between your toes. Let this piece bring the peace of Cornwall to you where ever you are.
