The sand ridges in the Camel Estuary at Rock, the Doombar. A formation of sand ridges which has always fascinated me, I wanted to capture the nature of the estuary in this piece, the boats floating through this maze of ridges, some remaining stranded on their moorings until the tide flows back in. I have built the texture in this piece using sand mixed into the eco acrylic paint.
