🌊 Inspired by Nature: The Fistral Shoreline Necklace draws inspiration from the serene beauty of coastal landscapes. The delicate pendant mirrors the tranquil ebb and flow of ocean tides, while the intricate shoreline detailing captures the essence of sandy shores meeting the sea.
A collaboration between Cornish Artist Gemma Lessinger and Nalu Beads they create all their handmade glass beads in their studio in Braunton, North Devon. They use ‘Venetian Murano’ glass, the best in the world, to make their beads. It is renowned for it beautiful reactions when melted, it’s beautiful lustre and longevity.
Gemma worked very closely with Nalu to recreate her painting 'Fistral Shoreline' into one of their iconic glass beads. Half of this bead is made with a transparent teal glass and the other half ivory glass. Enamel is sprinkled on the 'sea' side to create the illusion of sea spray, whilst the 'sand' side has been rolled in tiny shards of white glass along with a sprinkling of sand from Fistral beach.
The bead comes on a 16 inch sterling silver chain.
Every bead is individually handmade so each one is unique in its finish.
